Without a clean water source, many children in the developing world are forced to rely on surface water.

CHILDREN SHOULDN'T HAVE TO FIGHT FOR WATER.

But this is the reality at Malava Primary School in Western Kenya, where 866 students struggle to collect enough water.

"Things get worse when it's the dry season. We literally fight at the water tanks since the shallow hand-dug well dries up. We never get enough [water] during this period," said 12-year-old Linda.

The water the students are fighting over isn't safe to drink - making students sick and causing them to miss valuable learning time.

YOU CAN HELP BRING CLEAN WATER TO LINDA AND HER CLASSMATES.

With your support, we will be able to build a new borehole well that will provide year-round safe and reliable water to Malava Primary School's nearly 900 students and teachers.

Water & Education

Only 45% of the schools in sub-Saharan Africa have water on school grounds.

When students have access to basic water and sanitation services at school, they stay in school longer, their grades improve, and their health is restored. Without access to safe and reliable water, students face many challenges.
